Jaxson de Ville, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ beloved mascot, has been making waves since his unexpected discovery in 1993. Originally a stray cat living in the south scoreboard during the Jaguars’ inaugural season, Jaxson officially became the team mascot in 1996. Known for his unpredictable antics and daredevil stunts, Jaxson quickly won over fans with his willingness to risk it all for their entertainment.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Firefighters and the one and only Jaxson de Ville of the Jaguars went for a visual visit with the kids at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in downtown Jacksonville. It was all to cheer up the kids who are hospitalized while they battle cancers and other serious illnesses. Their smiles are ear to ear, and it’s so important we provide them these opportunities just to be kids, especially during treatment," said Vice President of Patient Care Services Cicely Brooks said. After the window visit, the kids were given ice-cream sandwiches.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Dozens of families were fortunate to attend Sunday's Jaguars victory over the New York Jets free of charge. The families were invited by the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund nonprofit organization. The invited families have a child who either has or has had a form of childhood cancer. Before heading into the stadium, the families were treated to an event with food and games at WJCT studios. Jaguars mascot Jaxson de Ville and members of the Roar were also there to meet the kids and get them pumped up for the game.

It's the 25th annual Painting of the Paws and it kicks off the 2019 Jaguars season. The Jax Chamber and Jax Chamber of Downtown Council host this year's event. Its a fun, fair, get up and cheer and roar for your Jaguars. It just starts the season off right for us here in Jacksonville," said Kimberly Gill, chairwoman of the Painting of the Paws committee. Parking is free in Lot H.The 2019 Jaguars season officially begins Thursday with a pre-season game against the Baltimore Ravens at 7:30 p.m.
