Chelsea Morgan, of Jasper, was traveling north in the center lane when the right rear tire of her Jeep Liberty blew out, causing her to lose control, state troopers said. The Jeep left the wet roadway and spun onto the east grass shoulder at mile marker 388 at about 3:30 p.m., troopers said. It traveled through a ditch and struck a tree line with its front, then hit a second tree on the driver's side door. Troopers said Morgan was not wearing a seat belt, and Asbury was wearing one.
