The Biden Administration approved debt relief for more student loan borrowers, totaling $9 billion in forgiveness. This is the latest effort by President Biden to offer relief to what the White House calls a "broken student loan system."

The second of the Jaguars' draft picks has signed his contract. Defensive end Jordan Smith joined Jalen Camp as members of the Jaguars' 2021 draft class to sign. The announcement came the same day the Jaguars traded last years' fourth-round pick, Josiah Scott to the Philadelphia Eagles for cornerback Jameson Houston and a sixth-round pick.

Jordan Smith is the only player the Jaguars traded up for in the 2021 NFL draft. Smith says he is the best pass rusher in the class. The Jaguars will hope he right because the team could use a boost to their pass rush.

The Jaguars finally addressed their glaring hole at tight end in the draft, selecting Ohio State’s Luke Farrell with their first pick of the fifth round.

The Jaguars made a quick move in the fourth round of the NFL draft, trading up nine spots and taking edge rusher Jordan Smith from UAB at pick No. 121.

National champion Alabama has five players leaving early after beating Ohio State in the CFP title game on Jan. 11, with All-America quarterback Jones and linebacker Dylan Moses both early graduates. The 30 players with college eligibility remaining after completing their degree requirements had to notify the NFL of their intentions for the draft. Players less than four years removed from high school who have not completed a degree need to be granted special entry to the draft by the NFL. Southern California has the most players leaving early for NFL draft eligibility with six. Stanford and Ohio State matched Alabama with five each.
