Patrol officers tried to take Taylor into custody, but he barricaded himself in the home and SWAT was called out to negotiate with him. It’s a very safe neighborhood. I was neighborhood watch coordinator for years and people wouldn’t come to the meetings and stuff like that so I said ‘Heck with it.’ I said, ‘We’re a safe neighborhood why bother’ and then this happens today. JSO said a risk protection order will be issued, which will prevent Taylor from legally possessing a gun again.

AUGUSTINE, Fla. - A Jacksonville man who fired a gun into a car filled with three people during a 2017 road rage incident in Julington Creek was sentenced Monday to 22 years in prison. Charles Michael Mohr, 24, was convicted of three counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle. Prosecutors said that Mohr was involved in a road rage incident off Racetrack Road on Sept. 29, 2017. He pulled alongside the victims vehicle and began to confront them. As the victims attempted to leave, Mohr fired several shots from a 9mm handgun into their car, prosecutors said.

This makes it a lot different from an urgent care center," a news release reads. This facility is licensed by the state as an Emergency Department and gives St. Johns County rescue crews a place for patients to be treated 24/7. From chest pain to strokes to broken bones, emergency medicine trained physicians will help both adults and children during medical emergencies. The center is located at 42 Doctors Village Drive, right off Racetrack Road, just west of Veterans Parkway.
