A gas outage in St. Johns County has left businesses closed and homeowners without hot water and working stovetops since Monday.

A local woman who discovered Amazon had been overcharging her sales tax for years has now received a $750 credit from the company, and other local customers affected could also be receiving refunds soon.

St. Johns County Fire Rescue is fighting a residential fire that is in the 400 block Paisley Place.

Clark’s Fish Camp & Seafood Restaurant was sold last month for $1.4 million. The restaurant closed on Sept. 21, 2022, after 47 years of operation.

Multiple people on social media have been sharing photos and videos saying they’ve seen coyotes roaming near homes in northern St. Johns County in recent weeks.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – There is a man going to homes in Julington Creek and Mandarin asking residents for personal information. Several people in the area have said the man approached their home at least once in the last few weeks. He told one household he was following up on a survey they never received and claimed some residents owe money. Neighbors didn’t realize how many others had been approached by the same man until seeing him on countless home surveillance images. One thing that stood out in all of the videos, was the way the man approached each household.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - A Jacksonville man who fired a gun into a car filled with three people during a 2017 road rage incident in Julington Creek was sentenced Monday to 22 years in prison. Charles Michael Mohr, 24, was convicted of three counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle. Prosecutors said that Mohr was involved in a road rage incident off Racetrack Road on Sept. 29, 2017. He pulled alongside the victims vehicle and began to confront them. As the victims attempted to leave, Mohr fired several shots from a 9mm handgun into their car, prosecutors said.
