KTUU(CNN) - Almost 50 large wildfires are burning in a dozen US states from Texas to Alaska. The McKinley Fire, which has now spread to more than 4,300 acres in Alaska, has destroyed at least 80 structures so far, the Alaska Division of Forestry reported Wednesday morning. Alaska is battling eight wildfires; Texas 7; Arizona and Idaho six each; Montana and Utah five each; Oregon and Washington three each; New Mexico two; and California, Oklahoma and Wyoming one each. Along the highway between Anchorage to FairbanksAs of Wednesday, Alaska continues to be the nation's top priority. Conditions are extremely dry in the state, according to the Alaska Fire Service.

The P&O cruise ship Britannia was on the final leg of a cruise to Norway's fjords from Southampton, in southeast England, when the fracas broke out, ITV reported. ITV's "Good Morning Britain" correspondent Richard Gaisford was on board the ship when the fight broke out. The passenger's attire apparently upset some of the guests, Gaisford said. Police told ITV that three men and three women were assaulted during the fight and that there were a number of injuries including cuts and bruises. Those believed to have been involved in the fight were confined to their cabin for the last day of the cruise, ITV reported.
