Sandalwood High School Senior Vice President Kimberly Williams, 17, said even though the protest didn’t go exactly as it was planned, there are still issues at the school that need to be addressed.

Paisley and his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, have pledged to donate 1 million nutritional meals this month. The initiative is billed as the Million Meal Donation Tour, which kicked off in Detroit last week. The idea for their store originated after the couple volunteered their kids' service at a similar store in Santa Barbara, California. He said more than 54 million people have experienced food insecurity in 2020, including 18 million children.
