Many people who attended the event said it felt good to get out. The event included 60 vendors and a food truck village. Many businesses at Sunday’s event, like Island Dream Authentic Italian Ice, said it was their first event since the coronavirus reached Florida. This is the fun part of the job,” said Island Dream Authentic Italian Ice owner Brittany Sinclair.

The Jacksonville Beach Police and Fire departments responded to the gas leak on 1st Street North near Latham Plaza. Unfortunately, the gas leak pushed them out. Smith with the Jacksonville Beach Police Department said the leak had been contained. A portion of 1st Street North was expected to remain closed until Wednesday.
