A mother and her two adult daughters were found shot to death early Tuesday morning at a home in Bradford County after an 11-year-old girl called 911 at 2 a.m. about what investigators called a “domestic incident.”

Johnnie Bernard Brown, 46, has been charged with three counts of second-degree murder for killing his wife Quinque “Cat” Robinson, 49, and her two adult daughters -- Denesha Sims, 27, and Winshay Roddey, 25 -- Bradford County Sheriff Gordon Smith said.

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – A Keystone Heights driver died in an early morning wreck on U.S. 301 south of County Road 218 when his pickup truck crossed into oncoming traffic and struck another pickup head-on, according to Florida Highway Patrol. BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. – Bradford County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire on Northwest 223rd Street off County Road 200-A south of Lawtey around 2:30 p.m. Saturday. When crews arrived, they were met with heavy fire on the front porch and entrance of the home. Firefighters called in additional crews to help battle the flames, but the home was a total loss. BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. - Three people were arrested following a home invasion robbery and a shooting Wednesday morning near Lawtey, the Bradford County Sheriff's Office said. While deputies were still investigating the home invasion robbery, the Sheriff's Office said it received a call about 8:20 a.m. regarding a shooting on Northwest County Road 200A, just south of Lawtey city limits. Due to the proximity of the shooting, Lawtey Elementary School was temporarily placed under a "shelter-in-place," with extra deputies on the campus. During interviews with detectives, all three admitted to the home invasion and the shooting, the Sheriff's Office said. LAWTEY, Fla. - One person died Wednesday morning after they were hit by a CSX train in Lawtey, according to the Bradford County Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office said the incident happened sometime in the late morning at a rail cross along County Road 125, shutting down traffic in the area for several hours. It wasn't immediately clear what led up to the train striking the unnamed pedestrian. Deputies said the circumstances of the crash remain under investigation. LAWTEY, Fla. – A 20-year-old soldier died after the Army Humvee he was driving crashed and flipped on U.S. Highway 301 late Tuesday morning just north of Lawtey. State troopers said Shears was heading northbound in the left lane of U.S. 301 when he tried to change lanes and lost control. A nurse from Shands Hospital in Gainesville and other bystanders began CPR, officials said. They said the soldier's pulse was restored and he was taken by ambulance to Shands Starke Hospital to meet the ShandsCair medical helicopter, where he was then flown to Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident, which had one lane of both north and southbound traffic blocked.
