Fans and collectors came out in droves to bid on hundreds of costumes, props and items from the hit television series “Game of Thrones.”.

Fans of “Game of Thrones” can now battle it out themselves as 2,000 items from the series go up for auction.

Lena Headey, the 45-year-old British actress who played the villainous queen on HBOs Game of Thrones, took to Instagram on Sunday, just hours before the annual award show to show off her massive new hand tattoo. Headey is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama for the final season of Game of Thrones. Game of Thrones final season already took home 10 Creative Arts Emmys last weekend and the show has amassed 57 Emmys throughout its eight-season run. Headey unfortunately had to miss the premiere for the final season of Game of Thrones due to illness, telling her fans on Instagram that she was gutted at the time. One of those cast members who would have liked to have seen things end differently is Sophie Turner, who played Sansa Stark. "I thought Arya would kill Cersei," said Turner. "And I would like to have seen Sansa and Cersei reunited, or Arya and Cersei. Cersei ended up dying in the penultimate episode alongside her twin brother Jaime. Even Lena Headey, who played Cersei, wanted a bigger death for her character.
