After Milan, global fashion’s spotlight has shifted to the final stretch of ready-to-wear shows in Paris as the industry looks to the future with all the final fall trends.

The pioneering Black performer Josephine Baker — who left the United States to find global fame in Paris in the 1920s — was Dior’s muse for an old school spring couture collection of archetypal classicism.

PARIS – Paris Fashion Week was upended Sunday by the news of fashion designer Kenzo Takada's death at age 81. Like Milan before it, Paris is undertaking an unusual fashion season for Spring-Summer 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic. But the brand may have hoped such a big new beginning would have come under better days and not under the virus-hit Paris Fashion Week. For a 34-year-old, Williams has quite a resume -- after having designed for Kanye West and Lady Gaga and founding the influential urban fashion house 1017 ALYX 9SM. “It is with immense sadness that KENZO has learned of the passing of our founder,” the fashion house said in a statement.

How to Watch: Drag Race UK premieres its first season on BBC Three (via the BBC iPlayer) on Thursday, Oct. 3. Following the inaugural UK season, Mama Ru will return stateside to premiere Drag Race season 12, as well as season five of Drag Race All Stars. The second season of Drag Race Thailand is currently streaming on Wow Presents Plus, and it was recently announced that Drag Race Canada will be coming in 2020 -- with Drag Race season 11 runner-up Brooke Lynn Hytes serving as a permanent judge. During Jimmy Kimmel Live's latest edition of "Mean Tweets" stars including Jon Hamm, Maisie Williams and David Harbour took turns reading some of the meanest things the internet has said about them. No one had a better comeback than Zendaya, though, who read off one particularly unkind tweet and offered a sassy response back. Also not here for the snark was Kim Kardashian West, whose chosen mean tweet read, "I'd rather plant poison ivy plants in my anus before hearing another word about Kim Kardashian."
