One of two men arrested in connection with the death of a 23-year-old woman, whose body was found July in a pond in the San Marco neighborhood, was arraigned Monday on charges of second-degree murder, tampering with evidence, giving false information to law enforcement during an investigation and accessory after the fact.

A Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office booking report obtained Thursday by News4JAX indicates that a second arrest was made during the investigation into the death of a 23-year-old woman, whose body was found July in a lake in the San Marco neighborhood.

A 26-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a woman found earlier this month in a body of water in the San Marco neighborhood.

Dozens of relatives and friends attended the 23-year-old woman's funeral Friday.
