According to a police report, Moenika Ellis, 31, got into a fight with three other parents in the parking lot. According to the JSO arrest report, Ellis never pointed the gun at anyone, but did resist arrest and was also charged with possession of marijuana. He said his daughter had been attacked by Ellis’ daughter during school. “So what I did was, when she said she was attacked, what normal parents do, I go to the school,” Wiggins said.

Jacksonville Gullah Geechee Nation Community Development Corporation donated 11 bikes to local middle schoolers. (WJXT)It was the third giveaway for the Jacksonville Gullah Geechee Nation Community Development Corporation, according to president Saundra Moreen. “Here in Jacksonville, we have a blended, diverse community and a lot of times, you may not think you’re Gullah-Geechee descendants, but you just possibly could be.”
