The victims included 36 football players and 39 school administrators, coaches, fans, spouses and flight crew. Members of the current team also visited a nearby cemetery, where six players from the 1970 team whose bodies were never identified were buried. And on Saturday, the 16th-ranked football team won, defeating Middle Tennessee 42-14.

"We are proud to welcome Professor McConaughey to officially join our world-class faculty," said Moody College Dean Jay Bernhardt. McConaughey and faculty member and director Scott Rice have been co-teaching the Script to Screen film production class, but now the actor's name is solely on the syllabus. Working in the classroom with these students gives me a chance to prepare them," McConaughey said.
