Some public figures achieve immortality with buildings or monuments named after them.

Initially unsure of which orangutan was the father of a new baby primate, the Denver Zoo decided to have a little fun with the results and turned to former daytime talk show host Maury Povich.

Maury Povich has received the Daytime Emmys Lifetime Achievement Honor from his wife, journalist Connie Chung.

Veteran talk show host Maury Povich is calling it quits, saying he'll stop making original episodes of ‘Maury’ after he's been a daytime mainstay for 31 years.

While Maury Povich is considered to be one of the titans of daytime TV talk show hosts, in his mind, he's just surviving in the competitive space. "There are 75 daytime talk shows in the graveyard, so you worry about that all the time," Povich admitted. "I said, 'I don't wanna know the result [before hand]. I don't wanna know anything more than my guests. That's not bad for a host who says he's only trying to survive in the daytime TV landscape.
