Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a man in his 50s died when the driver of a semi-truck backed the cab up to a trailer to connect it. JSO said the man was pinned between the trailer and the semitruck cab.

Firefighters with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department were sent to extinguish a fire Wednesday evening at the Maxwell House downtown.
