Ingredients2/3 cup hot pepper sauce½ cup cold unsalted butter1½ teaspoon white vinegar1/3 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper1/8 teaspoon garlic powderSalt to tasteDirectionsMelt the butter first and whisk in a little flour to make a roux. Stir constantly until it thickens to your desired consistency. Add the hot sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, garlic powder and salt. As soon as the liquid begins to bubble on the sides of the pot, remove from heat, stir with the whisk and set aside.

The winner of the award will be announced on television Jan. 27, at the 30th annual EDDY Awards: Live from Jacksonville. The students had no idea what was going on until Lawson announced the 2020 EDDY Awards co-host will be Jordan Saunders, a fifth grader at Biscayne.
