Memorial Hospital and Orange Park Medical Center will now be called HCA Florida Memorial Hospital and HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two men were taken to a local hospital after being shot in the San Marco area Saturday night. JSO says their Violent Crimes Unit is investigating the shooting on 3720 Phillips Highway. The highway will be shut down near the entrance and exit to I-95 while they tend to the scene. One man was taken to the hospital after being shot on Phillips Highway near the Southbound exit of I-95. JSO says one of the men was found injured at a crash site down the street.

E. Bawroski said three or four men got out of a pickup truck and began shooting. They got back into the white or silver Chevy Avalanche and drove off. The extent of injuries to the two people who survived the shooting were unknown. Two of the victims’ vehicles, an SUV and a sedan, left at the scene were being processed for evidence. JSO and crime scene investigators are canvassing the area and speaking with several witnesses.
