The Princess of Wales is taking another step in her return to public life following cancer treatment as she hosts her annual Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey.

Downton Abbey, Julian Fellowes beloved British upstairs-downstairs drama, is back with an all-new film thats reigniting the cultural phenomenon. They are joined by a few new faces to the franchise, most notably Imelda Staunton and Tuppence Middleton. Well before arriving in theaters, however, the question quickly popped up: Is there going to be a sequel? If people come out in big numbers and come see us in theaters then theres no reason we couldnt do another.Gareth Neame, Julian Fellowes and Michelle Dockery. While success at the box office is yet to be determined, the cast all sounds game to do it.

After six seasons that yielded the kind of ratings PBS seldom sees, "Downton" closed its run in 2016, with happy endings all around. It's easy to argue that this trip back was unnecessary, a description that applies to many a revival and reboot. Ultimately, though, it's another satisfying chapter, demonstrating that enough still glitters around "Downton Abbey" to make it worth seeing for anyone who loved the show, eventually, if not sooner. "Downton Abbey" premieres Sept. 20 in the US.

After six seasons, Downton Abbey has amassed a huge fanbase eagerly awaiting the arrival of the upcoming film -- including a few familiar faces!
