Strideline Socks & Sports Mania is holding an event where Gardner Minshew II, the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, will be meeting fans, signing autographs and taking photos. Tickets were $35, but are now sold out. Those who have purchased tickets will get one pair of Gardner Minshew Strideline NFLPA approved socks and a place in line to have a picture taken with the Legend. He will be signing T-Shirts, Hats, Socks, and Accessories bought at Sports Mania.

The NFL recognized Minshew's standout start to his career, naming him the Offensive Rookie of the Month for September. Minshew has also won the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week award twice this season, in Week 1 and in Week 3, and is once again a finalist for this weeks award. for 905 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception for a passer rating of 106.9. In addition, he became the only rookie in NFL history to post at least 275 passing yards with a completion percentage greater than 75.0 in their NFL debut as a rookie in Week 1. An attitude like that (plus some impressive talent) might just take him all the way to rookie of the year.

Sister Sound, a musical group of three Jacksonville sisters, posted a video all about Gardner Minshew on Sunday. Julia Jackson, Kat Jackson Altenbach and Kimberly Jackson are currently a cover group but are releasing original music soon.
