Three days after a 27-year-old woman was shot and killed when she confronted a car burglar outside her Riverside home, neighbors say the car break-ins have not stopped.

Police are looking for a man who was in the area at the time.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are investigating the death of a woman Saturday night in Murray Hill. Officers responded about 7:30 p.m. to a house on Myra Street between Owen Avenue and Nelson Street. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office told News4Jax Saturday evening that it was waiting for the medical examiner to determine the cause of death and a search warrant to get into the house to find out exactly what happened. The Florida Times-Union later reported that the woman’s 12-year-old son found her suffering from an extensive chest wound and the woman died as first responders placed her into an ambulance. According to the Times-Union, police said the woman, her 12-year-old son and her adult son lived at the home, but the adult son was not home when the 12-year-old son made the discovery.
