See a list of events that are being postponed below:Rain from tropical storm Nestor put a damper on the monthly farmers market at Nocatee Saturday. The John J. Rhoden Foundation has postponed its 5K set for this Saturday to raise awareness about domestic violence against men. Due to the tropical storm, the Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville decided to move the Buddy Walk to this Sunday. Due to the tropical storm winds, regular river taxi service on the St. Johns River will be postponed at least until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the St. Johns County Sheriffs Office and the St. Augustine Beach Police Department were at the St. Johns County Beach Pier. National Night Out also served as an opportunity for people to ask officers questions or express any concerns in the community.
