Owner and pharmacist Kevin Duane had been requesting access to the vaccine for more than a month. Donna Teston couldn’t get an appointment at Regency Square Mall’s vaccination location and was relieved to get one at her home pharmacy.

Police said that when the arrived to the gas station, they found a male, who had been shot in his left leg, inside the store. According to the Sheriff’s Office, he told police that he was shot in the parking lot outside of the store and then the gunman ran off. The victim was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, police said.

Officers said they were called just after 2 a.m. to the intersection of North Main and 61st streets, where they found a woman lying in the median of North Main Street. Police said the womans body was lifeless and it appeared she had been hit by a vehicle. Officers said they also discovered vehicle debris in the street near the victim. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriffs Office at 904-630-0500.
