Neighbors in Panama Park on Jackonville’s Northside are outraged over a 12-year-old being shot in broad daylight on Thursday.

A 12-year-old girl was shot Thursday night when a car approached her while she walking on the street in the Panama Park neighborhood.

One man was killed and another was critically injured Monday night when each was shot during a struggle over a gun, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man and woman were found dead inside a home, in late stages of decomposition, on February 7. They also found a deceased dog wrapped in a blanket next to the woman’s bed.

One person inside the vehicle died and several others were injured, the Sheriff's Office said. No law enforcement officers were injured. A neighbor who lives one street over said she didn't see the crash, but she heard it. "I was sitting in my house in my office and I heard this loud 'boom' noise," Renee Scantling said.
