The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is offering guests another opportunity to catch a drive-in movie with an out-of-this-world launch viewing experience. Parking opens at 6:45 p.m. and “Journey to Space” narrated by Sir Patrick Stewart will begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. Launch and a Movie entry is $50 per vehicle, (RVs are welcome) and can be booked via the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex website or by calling 855-737-5235. *While the launch date is currently scheduled for October 2, in the event of a delay or scrub, tickets will be valid for the next launch attempt.

Stewart portrayed Picard on "Star Trek: Next Generation," which aired for seven seasons from 1987 to 1994. In the new series, Picard is older, brooding, and grounded on land. "Star Trek: Picard" will premiere on CBS All Access in the U.S. and Canada on January 23, 2020.

"These past few years, I really tried to belong here," Picard says in the trailer, 20 years removed from the events of the series "Star Trek: The Next Generation." At least two stars from previous "Star Trek" series make cameos in the trailer: Jeri Ryan's Borg drone Seven of Nine from "Star Trek: Voyager" and Brent Spiner's Commander Data, whose death capped the film "Star Trek: Nemesis." There's even a quick glimpse of a Borg cube, the vessel for the evil collective that opposed Picard and the crew of the Enterprise.
