The Florida Department of Education is working with Trinity Education Group to create a singular database that allows parents, teachers, and staff the ability to access school materials. Critics say the $15.6 million price tag is a waste of taxpayer dollars.

The group Public School Defenders attended the Duval County Public School board meeting to voice concerns about Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri’s presentation at the school safety workshop on February 20th.

Equality Florida said they want to ensure Duval County provides a safe and inclusive environment for all LGBTQ students.
