The mayor has asked for feedback about the transparency dashboards and what else Jacksonville residents want to see their local government share data for.

There are currently four dashboards available on the city’s website.

The Columbia County Public Works department is preparing for Tropical Storm Nicole which is expected to be a Category 1 hurricane later Wednesday.

Evacuation orders for zones A, B, C, and F, and the countywide curfew have been lifted Friday afternoon, according to Flagler County officials.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Four to six inches of rain caused flooding and blocked roads in St. Augustine on Sunday. I’ve got nothing but time so I’m just waiting it out.”During Monday’s St. Augustine City Commission meeting, Public Works Director Reuben Franklin will provide an After Action Report regarding the flooding that occurred throughout the city as a result of the nor’easter earlier this month. As part of the discussion with commissioners, Franklin will make recommendations for community outreach and workshops to address recurring flooding in specific areas and neighborhoods. During the nor’easter, some streets in downtown St. Augustine had standing water during high tides. According to the National Weather Service Jacksonville, flooding also led to the closure of King Street from Ponce de Leon Boulevard to the area of Whitney Street.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Six weeks after St. Augustine’s City Commission voted to move the 148-year-old Confederate monument from the Plaza de la Constitucion in downtown St. Augustine, City Manager Reagan has reviewed proposals for where to relocate it and is recommending a site at Trout Creek Fish Camp on State Road 13 being offered the property’s owner, Randy Ringhaver. A request to move the monument to the National Cemetery adjacent to the National Guard Headquarters was denied by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. The city executed a $230,000 contract with New York-based Progressive Construction to move the memorial either to the city Public Works compound where it would be temporarily stored or to a final location. Mobilization and relocation of the Confederate memorial is expected to be completed within three to four weeks. Another Confederate memorial in downtown St. Augustine -- a bust of Gen. William Loring -- is owned by the state of Florida and is managed by the University of Florida.

HILLIARD, Fla. – A boil water notice issued Tuesday for residents of Hilliard in Nassau County has been canceled. The precautionary advisory was put into effect after a water main broke at Henry Smith Road and County Road 108, the town's Public Works Director David Thompson said. Residents were advised to use bottled water or bring water to a rolling boil of one minute prior to using for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes. The notice remained in effect until the water main was repaired and a bacteriological survey showed that the water is safe to drink.
