According to UNESCO, the Mexican city of Puebla is home to the oldest public library in the Americas.

Officials say an illegal tap on a natural gas line is apparently to blame for pre-dawn explosions that shook the central Mexico city of Puebla.

Marín’s trial could be a “watershed” that “cracks open the impunity pact that has prevailed in Mexico for decades,” Maldonado said. In December 2005, Marín sent police to arrest Cacho in Cancun and drive her to Puebla.
