Henry Haigler, 37, is charged with two counts of felony hit-and-run in the June 15 crash on Race Track Road that killed 61-year-old Susanne Landino and 53-year-old Bonnie Parry. "We offer our deepest condolences to the family of Miss Landino and the family of Miss Perry," she said. WATCH: Suspect pleads not guilty in hit-and-run that killed 2 cyclistsThe 37-year-old, who has a previous DUI conviction, has been free since bonding out of jail last month. According to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, Haigler was linked to the crash based on DNA evidence and front end damage on his vehicle.

AUGUSTINE, Fla. - A Jacksonville man who fired a gun into a car filled with three people during a 2017 road rage incident in Julington Creek was sentenced Monday to 22 years in prison. Charles Michael Mohr, 24, was convicted of three counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle. Prosecutors said that Mohr was involved in a road rage incident off Racetrack Road on Sept. 29, 2017. He pulled alongside the victims vehicle and began to confront them. As the victims attempted to leave, Mohr fired several shots from a 9mm handgun into their car, prosecutors said.
