Scarlett, who and Wells were suspended from all team activities. Both were involved in a debit card scam that left seven other Gators suspended for Saturday's season opener against Michigan. Scarlett ran for 889 yards and 6 touchdowns last season and is expected to be the leading rusher for the Gators in 2017. Last year, Wells was charged with criminal mischief after he and Tyrie Cleveland shoot BB guns at their on-campus housing, breaking three windows.
