CBS says the daytime talk show “The Talk” will end in December after 15 seasons.

Sara Gilbert and Eric McCormack are joining Atypical -- and ET has your first look. The actors will both be joining the Netflix series as recurring characters in season three. Gilbert will play Professor Judd in the series, a university ethics professor who is described as being generally irritable and chronically underwhelmed, yet capable of compassion. McCormack, meanwhile, will play Professor Shinerock, an eccentric university art professor who loves to challenge and inspire his students. Sara Gilbert makes her return to daytime TV -- but this time, she's the one answering the questions. On Monday's episode ofThe Talk, Gilbert returns for the first time since relinquishing her co-hosting duties on the CBS show back in August. "I always thought that everybody would just like David because its a 30-year history and everybody would be 'Team David,'" Gilbert shares. Gilbert's return to The Talk is definitely less emotional than her last episode as a co-host on the daytime talk program. Sara Gilbert gave an emotional farewell during her last episode of The Talk, which aired on Friday. However, it was a special surprise performance by Gilbert's daughter, Sawyer Gilbert Adler, that made the episode even sweeter. "Coming every day, seeing Sara -- she can read me, I can read her," Osbourne said. "Sara Gilbert, you're the best -- irreplaceable, the best, a comedy genius, the best friend I've got in my life.
