Attorney’s for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday evening filed a notice of appeal, which was expected following Judge John Cooper’s ruling on mask mandates.

The state has taken the position it can continue imposing sanctions on school districts that don’t provide a parental opt-out as soon as it files for appeal.
