Republican Paul Renner, who was first elected to the Florida House in 2015, can’t seek re-election due to term limits, so the seat is open this year.

There is no incumbent on the ballot this year in District 22, which covers western Alachua County and extends west to the Gulf Coast, including Gilchrist and Levy counties. Republican Chuck Clemons couldn’t seek re-election due to term limits.

There is no incumbent on the ballot this year in Florida House District 20, which covers Putnam County and parts of Clay, St. Johns, and Marion counties. Republican Bobby Payne can’t seek re-election, due to term limits.

Florida House District 18, which covers the northern half of St. Johns County, including Ponte Vedra Beach, Fruit Cove, World Golf Village, Vilano Beach, and neighborhoods in between, is an open seat in the 2024 elections. Republican Cyndi Stevenson, first elected to the House in 2015, can’t run again due to term limits.

Republican Dean Black is seeking re-election in Florida House District 15, which covers North and West Jacksonville. He will face Democrat Gary McManus.

Incumbent Republican state Rep. Bobby Payne won 77% of the vote in the August primary for Florida House District 20, which covers eastern Alachua County and northwestern Marion County.

Republican Chuck Clemons and Democrat Brandon Peters won their respective party primaries in state House District 22, which now covers western Alachua County and extends west to the Gulf Coast, including Gilchrest and Levy counties.

This legislative district covers southeastern St. Johns County, including St. Augustine, and extends south, mostly east of U.S. 1, plus all of Flagler County.

Republican Dean Black easily won the August primary in Florida House District 15, which covers North and West Jacksonville. The district extends north of the St. Johns River and outside Interstate 295 to the Nassau County line as well as west beyond Conga Drive/Pritchard Road/Chaffee Road. It continues to stretch west, following McGirts Creek then Old Middleburg Road south to Oakleaf Village Parkway, with the district covering Duval County west to the Baker County line and south to the Clay County line.

One Republican and one Democrat are seeking the votes for Florida House District 21, which covers most of Gainesville and extends west to the Gulf of Mexico. Because there was only one candidate from each party, this race appears only on the November ballot.
