Karen Morian, president of the United Faculty of Florida, said the school’s plan appears to align with faculty recommendations, highlighting the need for flexibility. The university will finalize its reopening plan Thursday so it can be reviewed by the Board of Governors next Tuesday.

According to the school administration, parents of students should have received a robocall explaining Friday’s situation.
