Swiss authorities confiscated the luxury stash of vehicles from Obiang in 2016 after an investigation into money laundering. His father, Equatorial Guinea President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, who seized power in a 1979 coup, is the longest-serving head of state on the continent.
