Laid-off employees learning a trade, English or getting their GEDs through Disney Aspire will be allowed to complete their program. At Valencia College alone, 511 Disney Aspire students are studying English as a second language, according to the school. ORLANDO, Fla. โ€“ Walt Disney World is set to once again open its gates to the Magic Kingdom following a lengthy closure due to the coronavirus pandemic. But with most families staying inside and not traveling, how crowded will the theme parks really be when they reopen? Park Capacity Capacity at 25% Magic Kingdom 57,000 people 14,250 people Epcot 34,093 people 8,523 people Hollywood Studios 30,843 people 7,710 people Animal Kingdom 37,671 people 9,417 peopleA park at 25% capacity would mean very minimal wait times. As we can all imagine, visiting a Disney theme park when it reopens will be a new experience for all -- no matter how many times youโ€™ve visited. The Magic Kingdom and Disneyโ€™s Animal Kingdom parks will open first July 11, with Epcot and Disneyโ€™s Hollywood Studios reopening July 15.

DAVENPORT, Fla. Disney World was supposed to shut down for only two two weeks. Kathy and Jeff Thomas, a married pair of professional musicians with long ties to Orlando and Disney, decided to start playing from their Davenport home. ORLANDO, Fla. When Walt Disney World reopens its Florida theme parks next month after shutting down during the coronavirus pandemic, they'll be introducing a new reservation system. The company announced Friday that the new Disney Park Pass System will operate through disneyworld.com on either a desktop or mobile device, and registration through a My Disney Experience account will be required. The system is not yet available, but will be rolled out before the parks reopen starting July 11. Disney, and Orlando's other theme parks, closed in mid-March to help curb the spread the coronavirus. The Disney Park Pass System, which is not yet available, will operate through disneyworld.com (desktop or mobile), and registration via a My Disney Experience account will be required.

But one man in California went a step further and was lucky enough to get a birds-eye view of Disneyland Resort without pixie dust, a magic carpet or a lucky feather. Disneyland has a temporary flight restriction that restricts pilots from flying anywhere near the park, within 3,000 feet. During his flight, Muzio visited much of Orange County, which included stops at Angel Stadium, El Dorado Park and Long Beach Airport, to name a few. However, our favorite sight was that of a closed Disneyland park without a single person to be seen. While the view from above is great, anyone whoโ€™s been there would likely agree: nothing beats the view from the ground.

ORLANDO, Fla. โ€“ Magic Kingdom is said to be the โ€œThe Most Magical Place On Earth,โ€ but right now, thatโ€™s not how it appears. WKMG, a New4Jax sister station, flew SKY 6 over the parks in Orlando on Monday. It looked like a ghost town. Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando and Legoland announced last week that all of its respective parks will be closed, starting Monday, through the end of the month. The decision marks the longest closures ever for the theme parks, which have previously shut down for hurricanes and the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
