Night to Shine, an event sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation and hosted by a group of local churches provides an unforgettable experience for people with special needs and their caretakers.

In 2022 there were 2,300 child exploitation and human trafficking cases across Northeast Florida. Now, law enforcement officials from five local counties, FDLE, the Department of Homeland Security and the Tim Tebow Foundation are partnering together to put a stop to it.

Ron DeSantis said Thursday he has established the Governor's Faith and Community-Based Initiative, which will be led by a former president and executive director of the Tim Tebow Foundation. DeSantis' office said the initiative will help "collaborate between state government and faith-based and community-based organizations." It will be directed by Erik Dellenback, who has spent the past two years as a consultant to non-profit organizations and previously worked as president and executive director of the foundation headed by former University of Florida football star Tim Tebow. The fundraiser exceeded expectations, raising more than $123,000 which went to the Tebow Cure Hospital to provide care for children who otherwise couldn't afford it.
