Family, friends and the community came together Saturday to remember Timothy Obi, a diver who disappeared while spearfishing with friends off the coast of Mayport two weeks ago.

Help came from so many different areas: the U.S. Coast Guard, Jacksonville Fire Rescue, the Sheriff’s Office, federal agents, and dozens upon dozens of volunteers -- every one of them with the hope to find missing diver Timothy Obi alive and safe.

The search for a missing diver last seen Saturday off the coast of Mayport was suspended Tuesday evening, the U.S. Coast Guard said.

A U.S. Coast Guard cutter continued looking overnight and a US Customs and Border Protection plane joined the efforts again Tuesday morning in the fourth day of a search for a missing diver off the coast of Mayport.
