Jacksonville and its surrounding communities showed the Positively JAX spirit by donating 4,500 shoeboxes filled with personal care items to help the city's homeless.

Tire Outlet just opened their 12th location in Yulee, making their first imprint in Nassau County. Tire Outlet says ‘we just want to thank the community for all of their support and business, we are a family-owned and operated company and because of our customers, we have been able to grow with the expansion of Northeast Florida!’

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Share the holiday spirit by donating personal care items for homeless men and women in our community. City Rescue Mission, Fields Auto Group Dealerships, Tire Outlet stores in Jacksonville, Turner Pest Control, and WJXT Channel 4 are collecting shoeboxes filled with hygiene items until December 13. The Shoeboxes of Love project is for individuals or groups who want to make a boxed toiletry kit for a homeless person that comes to the emergency shelter at New Life Inn. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Trick Trunk or treat! The University of North Florida and Tire Outlet are hosting a Positively Jax Halloween event on Saturday, October 26! The event will have live music, raffles and more that will support the Adaptive Toy Project! If you are interested in opening your trunk for trick-or-treaters please arrive around 11:30 to set up. There will also be a Costume Contest where best dressed will win a basket of spooky goodies from local businesses!
