Officers said they responded around 4:30 p.m. to the shooting on Old Kings Road near Toledo Road. Police said a man in his early 20s was shot in the upper torso. Police said he suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police said they’re now looking for another man who was wearing all black clothing.

The Sheriff’s Office said the chase started about 11:30 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of University Boulevard and Powers Avenue. When the car hit 80 mph, according to the arrest report, the officer turned on his blue lights. According to the arrest report, the car was still going 100 mph when it hit the stop sticks. The arrest report does not even say Paige was shot, only that he was apprehended after a foot pursuit.
