A soccer-loving nun from Brazil is believed to have become the world’s oldest living person at nearly 117 years old following the recent death of a Japanese woman.

Tomiko Itooka, a Japanese woman who was the world’s oldest person according to Guinness World Records, has died.

Tomiko Itooka is now the world’s oldest living person at age 116.
