A local woman is putting Jacksonville on the map with her modeling skills.

Essence Sugar stole the show during her trip to Los Angeles after making "Top 10" in Torrid’s largest-ever casting call campaign.

Thanks to votes from friends, family and the community, Essence Sugar, 29, from Jacksonville, has made “Top 10″ during Torrid’s largest-ever casting call campaign. Torrid, an American women’s retail chain, is seeking its next model for future campaigns.
