Rhule said the Panthers were unaware the ball had hit the ground or else he would have just had Bridgewater spike the ball.

Wallace, wearing an American flag mask, clapped his hands when asked about the decision before the start of the race. Already outspoken on social causes in NASCAR, Wallace denounced the flag and his message spread throughout sports.
