A man in his early 20s was stabbed early Thursday morning during an altercation inside an apartment on University Boulevard North in Arlington, Jacksonville police said.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who attempted to rob a financial institution on University Boulevard North Wednesday morning but walked away unsuccessful after an employee turned him away.

A man crossing University Boulevard North near Fort Caroline Road around 5 a.m. Wednesday was struck and killed, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

One man is in life-threatening condition after a shooting at an apartment complex

One man was killed and another man was wounded in two shootings Saturday night in Arlington, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was killed Friday night in a hit-and-run crash on University Boulevard north. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said when Jacksonville Fire-Rescue arrived, the man was already dead. Police said the man was hit by a vehicle traveling southbound on University Boulevard North around 9:45 p.m.JSO said the vehicle will have front end damage because of the crash. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A young man was critically injured in a crash Thursday night in the University Park area of Arlington, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. The crash was reported around 9 p.m. on University Boulevard at Primrose Lane. JSO said the young man appeared to be in his 20s. A witness told police that the SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on University Boulevard North when the driver lost control and crashed head-on into the tree on the opposite side of the road. No one else was in the SUV, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Police said a man was hit by gunfire Wednesday morning while driving on Los Santos Way, near University Boulevard North two of blocks north of the Arlington Expressway. According to the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office, police and Jacksonville Fire Rescue were called about a shooting near the Los Palmos Apartments at 9:25 a.m. Officers said a 30-year-old man and a woman passenger were driving when someone shot at the car. The man was hospitalized in critical but stable condition. Police said the gunman may have left in a white, full-size Ford pickup truck with a tool box. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman died of her injuries after she was shot Saturday evening along University Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Officers responding to a shooting about 5:40 p.m. near University Boulevard North and Michigan Avenue found a vehicle that had been struck by gunfire, the Sheriff’s Office said. The shooting victim, described as a woman in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said. Afterward, police received a 911 call from an individual who said they were involved in the shooting.
