There was no sign of Williams when rescuers arrived, and divers from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and FWC were unable to locate him using sonar equipment. The 84-year-old’s boat was towed to an area near Naval Air Station Jacksonville. Williams was believed to be the only person on board at the time of the collision.
