FBI officials said a caller claiming to be an ex of Williams said friends of hers showed him a video of her taking a laptop computer or hard drive from Pelosi’s office. FBI officials said they believe Williams “has fled.” Her mother told local law enforcement that she packed a bag and left, saying she would be gone for a couple of weeks. She also changed her phone number and deleted a number of social media accounts, the FBI said.

The AAA auto club said a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Florida now averages $2.03 a gallon, up a penny from last week. But prices of crude oil and wholesale gasoline fell last week, as COVID-19 cases surged in Florida and many other states. Gasoline prices dropped early in the pandemic but started to rise again as businesses reopened and people started driving more. We are going to see lower gas prices.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. With coronavirus-related restrictions lifting and Floridians beginning to travel more, gasoline prices are the most expensive they have been in nine weeks. The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Florida is $1.90, up 2 cents from last week and 14 cents from a month ago, according to the AAA auto club. AAA spokesman W. D. Williams said he expects prices will top $2 a gallon in the next week or two. We all know that as the demand increases, the prices are going to increase as well.Gas prices are still down 70 cents a gallon from a year ago. The bottom of gasoline prices are behind us, and we are going to see continued increases coming up in the future, Williams said.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. If you drove around the St. Johns Town Center on Tuesday, you might have noticed some stores that had their windows boarded. It wasnt immediately clear why the stores had boarded up, but on Saturday night, a heavy police presence was posted near the Town Center following a protest that turned violent in Downtown Jacksonville. Confirming much of what News4Jax was able to determine from JSO arrest records on Monday, Williams said there were 25 arrests on Saturday -- 23 of them Jacksonville residents -- and another 53 on Sunday -- 39 of them Duval County residents. Stores that had boarded their windows on Tuesday at the Town Center included Apple, Louis Vuitton and Tiffany and Company (see gallery above). Demonstrators across Jacksonville came together on Tuesday evening for peaceful protests around the Downtown Jacksonville area and in the Nocatee neighborhood in St. Johns County.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. Lawyers for New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson want a federal judge in North Carolina to rule that a marketing firm suing Williamson for $100 million never had a valid contract with the former Duke star. The motion filed by Williamson attorney John Wester in U.S. District Court in Winston-Salem this week centers on North Carolinas Uniform Athlete Agent Act. Ford and Prime Sports responded by suing in federal court in Florida for damages related to breach of contract by Williamson and tampering by his CAA agents. The questions reference Williamsons mother and step-father as well as apparel companies Nike which outfits the Blue Devils team and Adidas. Schoenfeld also referred to a previous statement that the school has reviewed Williamsons eligibility and found no concerns.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – City leaders say they will continue to contract with a trash company responsible for more than 7,000 complaints of missed trash pick-up and more than a dozen chemical spills in Jacksonville neighborhoods. The letter from Jacksonville’s Chief of Solid Waste said “from October 2018 through August 2019, [trash hauler Republic Services] has been charged over $220,000” in fines. According to the letter, the fines were levied in response to more than 2,800 issues with Republic Services. District 1 City Councilmember Joyce Morgan said this week trash collection has been an issue for at least the last five years. Republic Services is not the only city trash company facing fines.

Robyn Crawford is confronting one of her and Whitney Houston's biggest opponents. Crawford released her memoir, A Song For You: My Life With Whitney Houston, on Tuesday revealing the details of her relationship with Houston in excerpts. Of the 2003 interview between William and Houston, Crawford says, "That was a cumulative fed up Whitney Houston that I heard," adding, "You had been talking about Whitney and myself for so long." JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Three men shot on West 22nd Street on Saturday night were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. A witness told News4Jax she heard loud music and people gathering in the street one block east of Moncrief road before six to eight gunshots were fired. "I seen people scattering, you know, heard the gunshots and, you know, when we hear that type of thing, we want to get to safety," Williams said. A Georgia local and his dog were sure to be separated after they lost their home, but a generous community was determined not to let that happen. A man known as Mr. Williams and his trusty dog Lucky are on a path to being reunited after eviction and homelessness forced them apart temporarily. Williams turned to the Gwinnett County Animal Welfare shelter after he was evicted from his home last week. Corbett sent out a plea for help on her Facebook page and followers were happy to chip in. Anonymous donors helped set Williams up in a hotel temporarily and after spending just one night in the shelter, Lucky went home with a foster.
