Wonder Woman 3 is on the way with Gal Gadot working with James Gunn and Peter Safran

Gal Gadot is using her Hollywood starpower to spotlight remarkable women from around the world.

But WarnerMedia is counting on “Wonder Woman 1984” to matter more to HBO Max, which wobbled in its initial rollout. Warner Bros. nevertheless seized on the returns for “Wonder Woman 1984” as the best as could be expected, given the circumstances. Streaming numbers weren't provided for “Soul” or “Wonder Woman 1984.” WarnerMedia said nearly half of HBO Max’s subscribers watched “Wonder Woman 1984” on its first day on the streaming platform, though it didn't say how long constituted a watch.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – 4-year-old Sloane (aka Wonder Woman) had a big celebration after her bone marrow transplant and last Chemotherapy treatment. In a video posted by Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Sloane had a celebratory victory lap and rang the bell to mark to the end of her cancer treatments. “She has been such a trooper through all of her treatment & her care team is so proud of her,” the hospital said. She danced to “Roar” by Katy Perry and put her mark on the hallway art. We are so proud of you!

Kristen Wiig has another reason to smile these days! The 45-year-old Wonder Woman 1984 actress is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Avi Rothman, according to multiple reports. Apparently, Wiig, who has been incredibly private about her romance, has kept the news a secret for months as the couple got engaged earlier this year. Rothman is also an actor and known for his roles in Love, Sex and Missed Connections, Bunion and Boundaries. Wiig first sparked engagement rumors this past May when she was spotted wearing a giant diamond ring on her ring finger.

Gal Gadot is going from Wonder Woman to Old Hollywood. Gadot has set her sights on her next project, where she will play famed actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr in an untitled limited series, it was announced Friday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. She stood at the forefront of many issues that challenge women and our society today, said Jana Winograde, Co-President of Showtime Networks. In Gal Gadot, we have found the transcendent actress to portray the deeply complex Lamarr. She has also starred in 2017's Justice League and her own standalone film, Wonder Woman, as well as the upcoming sequel Wonder Woman 1984.
