Awen Family Band is a nationally touring world boogie collective founded by singer-songwriter and coddie-wompler Tim Husk. Awen Family played their first show at Kings in Raleigh, NC in June of 2019 and has since performed at festivals and venues around the country featuring an ever-changing all-star cast of artists who believe that we are moving the message from one plane to another, we don’t create the art, but are vessels for the great spirit to move through us, to inspire and to be inspired by the life around us. NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Musician and actor Kevin Bacon is bringing live music back to venues that have been shuttered this year with an all-star concert TV special. The charity concert airing on CBS on Dec. 15 will raise money for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and WhyHunger. All these independently owned venues were closed to the public because of the COVID-19 pandemic. “The joy that you see among the people that are playing, I think, is very infectious in our show,” said Bacon. Although he also hasn't been able to perform in front of fans this year, Bacon has been singing and playing to a smaller audience of sorts.

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla - T-Mobile cellphone records and a Florida Department of Law Enforcement ballistic analysis helped St. Johns County detectives crack an assault case. The report stated that Bacon entered her vehicle, which was parked outside his home on Harmony Drive, and then took the womans gun without her permission. The report stated that Bacon told the woman he would give her gun back then ran into his house. Statements from witnesses, cellphone data and information from the FDLE Crime Lab gave detectives probable cause to get a warrant for Bacons arrest. Bacon was booked into the St. Johns County Jail shortly before 10 a.m. Friday and his bond was set at $50,000, online jail records show.
