The process of meticulously removing cars from a partially collapsed garage at Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospital is expected to continue Wednesday -- with a little robotic help.

Tow trucks and special equipment began removing cars inside a St. Vincent's Hospital parking garage that partially collapsed.

There is still no word on what caused a parking garage on the campus of Ascension St. Vincent’s to partially collapse this week, and the buildings around it are still condemned and likely will be for weeks to come.

A structural engineer is expected to be on-site Wednesday to investigate a partial collapse of a parking garage at Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside hospital.

Questions will be asked for several weeks if not months as to how the parking structure at Ascension St. Vincent’s hospital suddenly collapsed Monday afternoon.
