Atlantic Beach Police confirmed crews located a man’s body in the water just north of 19th Street in Atlantic Beach.

Just two days after the Jacksonville Beach city council voted to not allow a measure saving the volunteer life saving corps on the ballot in November, a judge stepped in to reverse that vote.

A spat between the city of Jacksonville Beach and the Volunteer Life Saving Corps that appeared to have ended might not be over quite yet.
