JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 2-year-old girl at the center of a Missing Child Alert was found safe, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Saturday afternoon.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office first announced about 7:30 a.m. Saturday that it was looking for a 2-year-old girl, who may have been with a 31-year-old man.
Late Friday evening, according to the Sheriff’s Office, police were originally called to an unrelated investigation on the Southside, where they discovered the girl was missing.
The FDLE said after 2:15 p.m. Saturday that the child was safe, and the Missing Child Alert was canceled.
The Florida Missing Child Alert for 2-year-old My'ionnah Freeman out of Jacksonville has been resolved.
